Death is real and imminent. But the death of innocent animals is disheartening. JBF is saddened by the news of 18 elephants found dead in remote hill areas of Nagaon on Thursday. Shockingly, as per the report, the reason for death was suggested as electrocution caused by lightning. Although the post-mortem report awaits, as sad as it is, the cause of death remains a question as now another angle of the story resurfaces.
We are at loss for words. They are away from the suffering and at peace.
