JBF (INDIA) TRUST popularly known as JBF (Just Be Friendly) is a professionally managed not-for-profit social sector organization promoting the welfare of animals since its inception in 2003 and it aims to build a society that enables better life for animals and creates better living conditions with humans. JBF is the only continuously functional organization across North Eastern part of India except Sikkim to conduct Rabies Control activities through humane dog population management programs (ABC-ARV). Besides Rabies Control, the prime initiatives of JBF includes Awareness Drive among the human population about the importance of co-existence with animals, Disaster Response during natural calamities and building capacities for contingencies, and accidental rescue and on-spot treatment of stray animals.

Opening Hours
The volunteers play a vital role in conducting awareness campaigns and carrying out different activities in relation to the different projects that JBF undertakes. The volunteers also help immensely in the process of fundraising. JBF welcomes people who wish to be a part of the different activities that JBF promotes in relation to strengthening the human-animal bond in the society.
