In a pioneering move to eliminate rabies, JBF (Just Be Friendly), inpartnership with Mission Rabies WVS and the Guwahati MunicipalCorporation (GMC), has officially started free anti-rabies vaccinationprogram for both free-roaming and dogs with the keepers. The programkicked off early this morning with its first phase taking place in GMC WardNo. 1, near Khanamukh Bridge.

The starting day saw strong support from local stakeholders, with Ward 1Councillor and local residents offering their full backing for the initiative.

In addition to the vaccination campaign, JBF, Mission Rabies WVS, GMCand Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam are alsoconducting awareness programs in schools, hospitals, and public spaces tospread vital information on rabies prevention.
