This earth was made for all beings not just for human beings!!!
Every year over 35 lakhs people across 28 of the states’ 33 districts are affected due to flood in North East India. Among the havoc and panic caused by the brute force of nature we merely tend to give an inch of attention to the voiceless beings that has to face the same consequences as any other living being of the affected area.
We at JBF are trying our best for the last 17 years to make a small difference by helping these animals affected by natural calamities but due to lack of funds and resources we are limited to the amount of help we can provide. But the mere lack of resources, funds and manpower never held our team back.
Under the Guidance of Dr Sashanka Sekhar Dutta, our team has always delivered our best to provide Medical Care, transportation and shelter for these voiceless creatures. It’s a tough job but with the help of some great volunteers we are still striving forward everyday to make a difference.
To help effect this cause JBF is currently working on their Dream Project JIRAW (JBF integrated care and resource centre for animal welfare, a rehabilitation centre for Animals.
