JBF is always active to work for the welfare of animals. JBF actively works for the animals with the ABC-ARV Drive (Animal Birth Control and Anti Rabies Vaccination) of street dogs of North East Area to the extent possible.
Apart from this team JBF rescued and saved many lives of the strays. While conducting the ABC-ARV Drive on 10Jan, 2020, the team was bound to handle a very pregnant dog in a very serious situation at Boragaon, Guwahati.
The team has rescued an unconscious dog with dead puppies inside her from the spot and admitted her to IPD, College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam. Later on she had gone through a surgery and stayed admitted for around 3 week. JBF has borne all the necessary expenses needed to be taken during her treatment and made her healthy and safe.
