The State Government of Nagaland has decided to ban the commercial import and trading of dogs and dog markets. Sale of dog meat, both cooked and uncooked are also banned, Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Temjen Toy confirmed.
Truly a matter of great success and relief!
One of the most awaited positive steps has been taken in terms of illegal dog meat trade for which we, JBF and many other organisations are continuously working on since years.
Hope this positive initiative will be implemented with the same enthusiasm and will be strictly followed in coming days.
