The prevailing lockdown scenario is not only affecting human daily life but also affecting the strays to a great extent.
It is rightfully stated by an animal activist that animals are the worst victims of disasters, mainly street dogs are suffering from scarcity of enough food and water as the eateries or other places from where they usually gets their food are shut down due to the prevailing lockdown scenario.
In this severe situation only collective efforts can only save the living beings including these innocent souls. Relating to this JBF has been successfully delivering packaged foods to individuals and government and non-government organizations that have started feeding the street animals in different locations at Guwahati.
JBF will continue to do this activity and extend every possible help to these innocents in need.
P.S: JBF is doing its best to support but no formal collaboration has been signed with any government or non-government organization to feed the strays in need during lockdown scenario. JBF is currently providing packaged food to the extent possible to the individual feeders, government or non-government organizations to feed the strays honoring the permission received from District Administration and will be the same in coming days of lockdown.
