On November 15th JBF (INDIA) TRUST had organized free Veterinary Health Camp check up and free distribution of medicines for animals of five nearby villages in Kaziranga. The health check up camp was held in collaboration with District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Golaghat and Middle Kaziranga Gaon Panchayat. The initiative was taken to control and prevent from the spread of various livestock diseases. Dr Sashanka Dutta and Anindita Saikia an intern from Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science along with the JBF team successfully examined about 150 animals, with majority of the animals had been treated with breeding and immunization problem. The camp became successful in giving exposure to certain diseases and given proper information and guidelines about cattle management to the owners.
