JBF attended First-Aid Workshop organized by FIAPO

On 24th June, Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) organized a workshop at Hotel Orchid, Guwahati. The topic of discussion was ‘On-site first-aid for community animals.’ The key speaker of this programme was Dr.Smriti Rekha Dutta from JBF(Just Be Friendly). The workshop was attended by Sumanjita Barman and Diksha Choudhury from JBF along with many participants from different animal welfare organization and youths of Guwahati.
The workshop aimed to prevent suffering of stray dogs dealing with various illnesses and to prevent situation from deteriorating. The main motive was to discuss elaborately on how one can approach a dog with first-aid without necessarily being a veterinarian.
