• To develop more contacts.
• To speed up work by sharing.
• Replacement for staff in case of absentee & emergencies.
• For more helping hand to spread the work.
• To use the knowledge of volunteers from different expertise fields like Resource Mobilization, Veterinary, Advertising, Media, Event management, Editor, Writer, Advocates, Educator, Medicine etc. to get quality work in Animal Welfare.

!!!HOW YOU CAN HELP JBF!!!

DOG CARE:
• Spay/Neuter Program – Pickup/Pre-operative care/Post-operative care/Release
• Rescue of Accidental case – Rescue/treatment/Post-treatment care/Rehabilitation
• Initiatives to stop cruelty towards animal.
• Provide Veterinary and other required support during disasters.
• Arrange awareness campaign and educational campaign.

FUND RAISING:
• Approaching corporate/individuals with fund-raising proposals or in-kind donations.
• Distributing donation boxes in stores in your area.
• Liaising with companies for discounts and sponsorships.
• Volunteering at JBF stalls at colleges, corporate, events and fairs.

EDUCATION AND AWARENESS:
• Conducting educational sessions in schools.
• Conducting presentations to slum dwellers/schools.
• Occasional awareness campaign in various locations of Guwahati.
• Face to face interaction with animal owners.
• Leaflet distribution, posturing, media campaigns.
