Nowadays we have seen a huge increase in the number of Ticks and Fleas being found on street dogs during these warmer, rainy summer seasons.
Ticks and Fleas carry many diseases to dog body and they have suffer many symptoms include – depression, loss of appetite, fever, lameness, swollen and painful joints, swollen lymph nodes, lethargy etc. and over time, takes them to death.
Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is one of the most important infectious diseases of the central nervous system in dogs from endemic areas.
Unhealthy environment, unhealthy food helps to carry these ticks and fleas. So try to keep your own area as clean as possible. Give them medicines (if possible). One step of yours will help keep them in a healthy environment and away from ticks and fleas.
We would like to alarm animal carers about ticks and fleas control to be considered seriously.
Taking care of speechlessness is human duty.
