One of the most awaited festival of the city of Guwahati Metropolis, the urban winter festival was on its way back and kicked-off from 6th January to 8th January, with a joyous environment in the heart of the city at Nehru Park, attracting youths to join the festival. The festival depicted the talents of the state who participated with full of energy by showcasing their skills in various competitions during the three day long program.
Youth are the future generation of the country, if they have the sense of love and the sense of living peacefully in coexistence with the nature which intakes all the living creature of the society including man and animals, then the nation will have a strong upcoming future. JBF (INDIA) TRUST took a small initiative during the most happening fest by exhibiting the love of man towards animals. It was indeed very necessary for the youth of this part of the country and the Nation as a whole to realize how important it is to live in the society which not only comprises of man but animals too. During the three day long festival, JBF (INDIA) TRUST played its part by making an awareness campaign depicting prevention against the life taking disease of Rabies and man’s role in establishing the co-existence power of living by showcasing various placards and posters and also by distributing leaflets which would make the mass aware about the ever growing emerging issue.
The tragic part of the entire joyous fest was the sudden termination of the program for some unrevealed reason. The sufferer was whole crowd associated with the fest. JBF was also one of them to bear the loss. JBF in due course of the tragic part has lost 6 of their umbrellas costing around 1000 INR each, total of 6000 INR which is in fact a huge loss for a non-profitable welfare organization like JBF. With the aim of serving their best for the welfare of the society, ultimately had to suffer the illogical depletion.
