Diwali night called for fun, twinkling light, sweets, family celebration, goodness, and merrymaking but for Oscar, it was a night of nightmare.
When team JBF reached Ulubari to rescue Oscar, our team members were shocked thinking about to what extent the so-called human can be cruel to animals. He was in a very heart-breaking condition. Cracker had burned almost all parts of his body, his eyes, his neck; his legs were burned.
Oscar was brought to JBF centre at around 9:00pm and immediately started treatment. He is under medication & observation at JBF centre and our Vets are doing their level best to save Oscar.
Vet informed, “Oscar is suffering from intense pain because of burn in several parts of the body. Treatment is going on but the condition is still very critical”.
After Diwali effect turned so miserable for several dogs. Many died, some become deaf, some became homeless and some are suffering out of pain like Oscar. Such cruelties of human that exceed all limit of humanity make life more miserable.
Is it what Diwali is known for? JBF believe Diwali is for happiness not for putting someone’s life in the grave!
