Tommy a bright, brown, shady street dog was in a very painful situation when JBF team reached Kahailipara to rescue him. His eyes was full of tears, leg wounded badly, floor full of blood. It was too sad seeing Tommy in such a condition.
The condition was so miserable that a girl while passing saw Tommy lying down in the Kahailipara Street. She went near thinking whether the dog is dead or alive. Seeing the helpless situation she made a call to JBF helpline number.
JBF team immediately reached the spot to rescue the dog and brought Tommy to our Centre and started the treatment.
Immediately after the physical examination, treatment started and Tommy was provided Anti-biotic along with other supportive treatment.
Vet’s also said that the Tommy was so badly injured that he would not have survived if the girl didn’t inform JBF at right time.
The girl said that “People became too heartless and careless while driving, that he/she don’t even care that one may also die by his/her vehicle”, especially most of the people don’t care about animal pain which is human best friend, most honest and our protector most of the time.” “All thanks to JBF team who arrived at the right time as a hero to survive Tommy” She further mentioned.
Tommy is under treatment and will recover soon. JBF wish that Tommy can again live a healthy life before.
JBF is trying its best to fight through such cases faced by these helpless animals just need a helping and supportive hands, not fingers pointing to us. We as small organization face lots of financial crises during the process of our mission due to our limited resources.
Along with such daily activities, ABC& ARB program, we also need to undergo Flood-relief veterinary support camps in affected areas of Assam simultaneously.
