Maggoted wound in animals can lead them to face a painful slow death. This is indeed a traumatic situation for the innocent creatures, who even cannot speak out their pathetic condition. But right treatment at the right time can save those creatures, and we human being should be concerned towards that.

Maggoted wounds are the most gruesome, painful yet increasingly common reality of our poor stray Dogs and Cats in India. One such victim was a stray dog from Ambari area, Guwahati, who was poorly suffering from the infection. But JBF again proved to be a sincere animal welfare organisation. The team of JBF on getting the information about the matter at once picked up the dog and took it to its centre for treatment on 2nd October, 2016. The dog is under observation till today, the 20th October, 2016 and is better now. JBF finally made the dog free from the infection and saved its life.

JBF promises to proceed for welfare of the animal, and it is indeed continuously doing so. Just an addition of support from government as well as from the people will help them to reach the destination of establishing a co-existing power of living between human and animal.
