Rongali, one of the biggest cultural festival of North East, was once again back in Guwahati at veterinary ground, khanapara on 3rd, 4th, 5th February 2017. People from different corners of North Eastern region took part in the event and were quite excited regarding the fest. Popular artists from across the world such as Euphoria, Ash King, Nucleya, Teri Miko, Zaeden, Parikrama, Arjun and many other regional artist like Zubeen, Alobo Naga the band and North East breeze were the main attraction.
JBF again this time took the initiative to make the people aware about animal welfare and other related activities of JBF. By setting up a stall at Rongali, various banners were displayed to express love and compassion towards animals. Leaflets were also distributed during the fest to various visitors making them aware of JBF along with the prevention against deadly disease called rabies.
Hiyaa’s dog clinic was also a part of JBF stall where they displayed various dog products like dog food and other accessories for sell. The profits made from the products sold by Hiyaa’s Dog Clinic in Rongali was donated to JBF. This collaboration was indeed a great support towards JBF from the Hiyaa’s.
Also two indian breed puppies got adopted from JBF stall during Rongali which was rescued by the team itself.
