Rescue Case on GS Road Near International Hospital on 15th July, 2015
The unfortunate dog in the picture is another rescue case by JBF in Guwahati. Just like many other rescues cases reported to JBF, this one is also in its critical stage.
Bandana Suresa, an animal lover saw a dog in a very poor condition with accidental injuries, informed JBF about the situation of the animal and our active team of JBF reached the site immediately. Through our Animal Rescue Van the animal was brought to JBF Animal Rescue Centre. Our vet started giving treatment and it was found that he has got a fracture in his hip-joint and paralyzed from one side. The dog is undergoing proper medical treatment as he was suffering from heavy fever and in debility too.
We are really thankful to Miss Suresa for her compassion towards animal. Our team is doing our best so that he recovers soon. We also like to pass on the message that for treatment of such cases we need lots of medicines, bandaging materials. Most importantly we also need to get it at least X-ray done which a very common problem for us in dealing with accidental rescue cases. Therefore our request is always with you to help us in at least procuring a small portable X-ray machine at our center.
