Activities from Jowai and Guwahati, along with Khliehriat police intercepted the vehicle and manage to rescue 26 dogs.
Yesterday night at around 11 pm the rescued dogs were brought JBF Centre for treatment and temporary shelter. Vets had to immediately start the treatment since the condition is really very critical.
These dogs are often taken to Mizoram and Nagaland where they are slaughtered for meat with cruelty, which is illegal.
The dog who is our best friend, best companion and our protector at times are killed, slaughtered, trade, racked, with so much of cruelty.
Team JBF is trying its level best to save to all the rescued dogs.
