The pictures here are of the JBF centre in the Panjabari area. As we know that Assam is welcoming monsoon but it did not turn well for Guwahati. The heavy rain caused trouble for the people. JBF centre is also a victim of the heavy rain flow. As shown in the pictures the upper tin of the centre was blown away by cause of the heavy wind. Also our Animal Birth Control operations were postponed as there was water everywhere in the operation theatre. The medicines were also damaged as the water was leaking in the room. The scenario is horrific for the stray dogs in the centre. Although, the livestock space is not damaged and all the dogs are safe. But the operation theatre and half of the medicines plus food is harm.
JBF do not get any support from the Govt. hence we manage to repair the damages by public donation. JBF request all the animal lovers to come forward and extend their helping hand for the repair of the centre where we can operate/treat the animals. There are still many Animal Birth Control & Anti-Rabies Vaccination to perform for a healthy environment in the city.
